        Group classes are held once a month on the first Wednesday at the Japanese American Cultural Center (JACC) in Vista and on the second Thursday at Casa del Prado in Balboa Park from Fall to Spring. There are no group classes held in the summer.

        First class in Vista begins September 3rd, 2025.

        First class at Balboa Park begins September 11th, 2025.

        All teachers offer small group and private lessons. Please refer to their individual websites for more information on what they offer.

      • For Those New to Ikebana

        It is important to understand that Ikenobo is one of thousands of schools of Ikebana. When choosing a school it is recommended to do your research. All schools have their unique way of approaching Ikebana and therefore will appeal to people differently. Please keep in mind that it can be difficult to change schools once you begin your studies.

        If you are interested in learning in the school of Ikenobo the first step is to contact one of our teachers.
