        This is the original first arrangement created by the Ikenobo Monks.

        There are nine major elements, Shin, Shoshin, Do, Maeoki, Soe, Uke, Hikae, Mikoshi and Nagashi. These branches, or elements are in specified locations within the arrangement.

        There must be a Mizugiwa in the Rikka Shofutai arrangement.
